About me
Hello! I’m Andreia. And I’m an illustrator, graphic designer and printmaker. I am currently living and working in Romania.
It all started as a hobby in early 2017, even though I have wanted to be an artist since I was little. But life had other plans for me then and I ended up graduating from University as a dentist in 2020.
During University I had the opportunity to work on a book cover. I can whole-heartedly say I knew back then that my life will take a “creative” turn. After that book cover opportunity, I started to get immersed in illustration and graphic design knowledge, trying to learn as much as possible. Today I am working as a graphic designer at a digital agency.
During this short time, I got to work with my favourite Romanian poet (Iv cel Naiv) on a project called “Love during the pandemic”. It is a series of animations based on Iv’s poems. My latest achievement was the Crypto Art Exhibition at Senso Art Gallery in Bucharest.
My work is bright, colourful and full of quirky shapes. However, I love a minimal and simple design. As you can see, I’m a sucker for contrast.
I’m an INFJ and my strategy is constant improvement. So, when I’m not creating and learning, I love spending my time reading fiction books or watching other artists’ studio vlogs.
